3 Transmitter Configuration

shows the configuration process of a transmitter in FDM:

Configure a HART
interface in Server Management Tool so that the
device can be detected in FDM Client.
Add DD file in the FDM Client. Refer to Add DD file section for more
information.
Build network in FDM Client to establish the connection with the network
and detect the devices connected to the network.
Once the user establishes the network and detected the device, user
must configure the device with DD.
