3. If there is a card loaded in the slot, use the tip of your finger to pull
on the raised bar on the side of the card, and pull it out.
4. Slide the card you want to load into the card slot.
« Make sure the label side of the card facing towards the unit's display
screen. The card will stop part way into the slot if it is oriented
incorrectly.

Slide the card into the slot as far as it will go.
5. Replace the card slot cover.
e Be sure to always replace the card slot cover when using
a CompactFlash memory card.
¢ Inserting some types of modem cards into the CompactFlash card stot
may it impossible to close the cover. Leave the card slot cover off of
the unit, but be sure to store it in a safe place for later use.

The optional modem (J-EIOMA) makes it possible for you to connect
over an analog telephone line to a host computer or the Internet. '
The unit can be powered by the AC adapter while the modem is
attached, so AC adapter power can be used for modem communications
in the office, at home, in a hotel room, or anywhere else electrical
power is available.
