Using the AC Adapter
CompactFlash cards
An AC adapter connected to the cradle can be used as the main power
supply of a unit placed on the cradle.
Warning A
Use only the AC adapter that is specified for this unit. Use another type
of AC adapter creates the danger of malfunction and bursting of
batteries.
Important A
e Power also will not turn on if the main batteries loaded in the
CASSIOPEA are dead.
e Long term use of the AC adapter can cause it to become warm to the
touch. This is normal and does not indicate malfunction.
e Be sure to unplug the AC adapter from the power outlet whenever
you are not using it.
e The AC adapter is designed for indoor use only, and should not be
used outdoors.
Note
You can also connect the AC adapter to an optional modem (J-EIOMA)
to use as the main power supply of the unit.
