    The NETGEAR 108 Mbps Wireless PC Card WG511T lets you connect a PC computer to wireless networks. It is designed for PC computers running Microsoft Windows. For information about product features and compatible NETGEAR products, see the NETGEAR website at http://www.netgear.com.

After installation you can use the Find a Network button on the Network tab at any time to view the available networks and select the one that you want to use.

    B-1. Setting up a Computer-to-Computer (Ad Hoc) Profile The computer-to-computer setting of the WG511T uses Ad Hoc mode. Ad Hoc mode is an 802.11 networking framework in which devices or computers communicate directly with each other, without an access point. For example, you can use this mode for two Windows computers with file and print sharing enabled when you want to exchange files directly between them.
