To rapidly defrost the windows

Pressing the button to turn the air
conditioning system on and automatically
switches the system to fresh air mode.
Except African and Latin American models
Press the button (indicator off) to
switch to the fresh air mode.
If you want to rapidly defrost the
u
window:
Press the button (indicator on).
Press the button again to turn it off and
the system will return to the previous settings.
1Defrosting the Windscreen and Windows
For your safety, make sure you have a clear view
through all the windows before driving.
Do not set the temperature near the upper or lower
limit.
When hot or cold air hits the windscreen, the outside
of the windscreen may fog up.
1To rapidly defrost the windows
After defrosting the windows, switch over to fresh air
mode. If you keep the system in recirculation mode,
the windows may fog up from humidity. This
impedes visibility.
