Checking the total playing
time and titles (CD/MD)
Press DISPLAY in stop mode.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:
x When a CD is in stop mode
Total number of tracks and the total playing time

x When an MD is in stop mode

Nothing is displayed for discs without CD-TEXT
information. When the disc contains more than
20 tracks, CD-TEXT is not displayed from track 21
on.

When the Group Function is on, the total number of
groups (when no group is selected) or the total
number of tracks and the total playing time within
the group (when a group is selected) are displayed.
"– – –:– –" appears when the total playing time of
the MD exceeds 1,000 minutes.

Only when the disc is labeled. When the Group
Function is on, the group title is displayed.

(TUNER)
Press DISPLAY while listening to the radio.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes cyclically as follows:

Tips
• You can check the current track title during
playback. If you press SCROLL, a track title appears
scrolling in the display.
• To label a disc, tracks, and groups, see "Labeling an
