MD – Play

Loading an MD

Insert an MD.
With the label side up, and the
shutter on the righthand side.
With the arrow
pointing toward
the deck.

Playing an MD

— Normal Play/Shuffle Play/Repeat
Play
This system lets you play the MD in different
play modes.
Track number

Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch
the function to MD.

Press PLAY MODE in stop mode
repeatedly until the mode you want
appears.
Select To play
No display The tracks on the MD in
(Normal Play) original order.
SHUF All tracks on the MD in
(Shuffle Play) random order.
PGM The tracks on the MD in the
(Program Play) order you want them to be
played (see "Programming
MD tracks" on page 12).

Press MD NX.
Note
You cannot change the play mode during playback.
Other operations
To Do this
Press x.
Stop play
Press MD NX. Press again to
Pause
resume play.
Press . or > repeatedly
Select a track
until you find the desired track.
Find a point in a Keep pressing m or M during
track playback and release it at the
desired point.
Remove the MD Press Z MD on the unit.
