Programming of the MMT and IIG4-N technological devices on
the control units
AM-2000; AM-4000; AM-6000
The AM series control unit through the LCD-6000T panel manages the new series of 4-20mA MMT and
IIG4-N modules.
All anomaly, pre-alarm and alarm signallings coming from 4-20mA devices will be managed only by the
LCD-6000T panel
These new devices occupy just one address for device on the analogue line.
Starting the self-programming procedure on the AM series control units the IIG4-Nmodules and the MMT
modules connected to the lines are recognized as sensors and the type id "Tec3" is assigned by default.
In fact, there are two types of type-Id for "TEC3" and "TEC2" technological devices.
The operating feature of the type-id "TEC3" is the following:

A pre-alarm threshold (P1) programmable by the user (default P1 = 10 % of the selected highest
value of the scale)

A pre-alarm threshold (P2) programmable by the user (default P2 = 20% of the selected highest
value of the scale)

An alarm threshold (AL) programmable by the user (default AL = 30% of the selected highest
value of the scale).
 Highest value of the scale (refer to chapter Technological Ranges).
CBE equation which is activated when the value detected by the device is higher than one the

three thresholds (CBE active = OR (P1 P2 AL)). This CBE is used to activate any direct group.
Moreover you can activate an output module when on the 4-20mA device the threshold "P1" =
(A) has been reached by simply writing, in the CBE equation of the output module, the following
function:
Possibility to activate an output module when, on the 4-20mA device, the "P2"= (B) threshold has been
reached by simply writing, in the CBE equation of the output module, the following function:
Possibility to activate an output module when on the 4-20mA device "AL"= (C) threshold has been reached
by simply writing, in the CBE equation of the output module, the following function.
