Enabling Airplane mode

Software version 207.01.00.0016 and above includes a special feature designed
to protect against battery damage due to continuous charging during use. This
software optimizes charging behavior based on whether the terminal is in the
Suspend state or not.
Charging while awake: If the terminal is awake, that is, not off or in the
suspend state, the charging system enters a special charging mode that
adjusts voltage thresholds to avoid overcharging. In this mode, the battery
charge is maintained between 80% and 90%. NOTE: This means that the
battery will not be at 100% after a full night's charge.
Charging while off or in Suspend: In contrast, if the computer is off or in
the Suspend state, the special charging mode is not invoked, and the
battery level is maintained close to 100%.
This logic protects the battery from damage and maximizes battery cycle life.
If you don't need to connect to any wireless network, you can enable the
airplane mode to turn off all wireless receivers to save power.
1.
Tap Settings.
2.
Tap More under Wireless & Networks.
3.
Select Airplane Mode box to enable airplane mode.
