Scope of Delivery

IndraDyn T-motors are delivered in wooden crates. Packing units on pallets are
secured by means of retaining straps.
Injuries due to uncontrolled movement of the retaining straps when cut‐
ting!
⇒  Maintain a sufficient distance and carefully cut the retaining straps.
At delivery, the stator and rotor of the size 450 and 530 are connected with an
installation ring . During transport and storage, the installation ring must remain
on the motor.
Remove the installation ring only after finishing and testing of the mount‐
ing.
Use the installation ring for safety at dismounting and reconsignment.
The stators type MST of construction "...-ST-..." are protected with corrosion
protection wax RIVOLTA K.S.P. 317. The corrosions protection has to be kept
for transport and storage.
The contact surface of this stators have to be cleaned with a suitable cleanser
before mounting (e.g. RIVOLTA A.C.S.3).
All IndraDyn T-motors undergo the following tests, among others, at the factory:
High-voltage test according to EN 60034-1 (= VDE 0530-1).
Insulation resistance according to EN 60204-1/1.92, Section 20.3.
Geometric measurement of all mounting sizes.
Since all IndraDyn T motors undergo a standardized inspection procedure,
high-voltage tests on the customer side are not required. Motors and compo‐
nents could be damaged if they undergo several high-voltage tests.
Destruction of motor components by improperly executed high-voltage
test! Invalidation of warranty!
⇒  Avoid repeated tests.
⇒ Observe the regulations of EN 60034-1 (see VDE 0530-1).
The total scope of delivery can be seen in the delivery note or the waybill. The
content, however, can consist of several packages. Each individual package
can be identified using the shipment label attached to the outside.
For both stator and rotor is an individual name plate with unit marking and
technical details as well as a supply note with information for handling attached.
Additionally, o-rings for the coolant sealing at stators with liquid cooling are in
the scope of delivery.
For motors with an optional installation ring is an additional supply note with
further information attached.
