Within a series, the graduation of the increasing motor frame length is indicated
by ID letters in alphabetic order. The higher the motor frame length, the higher
the torque.
Frame lengths are e.g. A, B, C, D.
The winding codes "0010", "0027", etc. acting as a determination of the winding
variants and refer to the rated speed.
Example: The winding "0027" stands for a rated speed of n
DC bus voltage of 540 V
A drive combination is selected based on the corresponding selection data and
operating characteristics.
"F" = Liquid cooling. Standard cooling mode of the motors.
To operate motors with cooling mode "F" without liquid cooling is permitted
under certain preconditions. Therefore, reduced power data are considered in

"N" = Natural Convection (only available for MST130).
"S" = Surface ventilation (only available for MST530).
"H" = Aluminum cooling jacket ("T") in housing.
"S" = Standard encapsulation. This option is available for MST130 (only in con‐
nection with cooling mode "natural convection"). For standard encapsulation,
the stator package without cooling jacket is mounted into the machine housing.
"T" = Thermal encapsulation. It consists of an aluminum cooling jacket and
ensures the thermal decoupling of the motor to the machine.
IndraDyn T-motors are not available with motor encoders. For information on
motor encoders, please see
210.
In general, the electrical connection is made via a 2 m long connection cable
(at design "...D30x" with approx. 2 m long separate wires with wire end ferrules
or at MST210 with approx. 1.5 m long wires). All wires are provided with ferrules.
Depending on the installation within the machine, the connection cables could
be connected axial on the stator with the big or small diameter or radial on the
stator with the bigger diameter.
