Requirements
To meet the environmental requirements, the IXP/CPCI-9120 has to be tested in the system
where it is to be installed. Before you power up the board, calculate the power needed accord-
ing to your combination of board upgrades and accessories.

Environmental Requirements

The environmental values must be tested and proven in the used system configuration. The
conditions listed below refer to the surroundings of the board within the user environment.
Note: Operating temperatures refer to the temperature of the air circulating around
the board and not to the component temperature.
Danger Do not operate the product outside the specified environmental limits. High humidity
and condensation may cause short circuits. Make sure the product is completely dry and
there is no moisture on any surface before applying power. Do not operate the product
below 0°C.
