SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

All the parts of your machine are potentially hazardous if used incorrectly or not properly
maintained.
Special attention should be paid to sections preceded by the following words:
Risk of severe bodily injury or loss of life if instructions are not complied with.

TRAINING
Carefully read the instructions in this manual. Before using your lawn mower, familiarize yourself with how to

use it correctly and with its controls. Make sure you know how to stop the motor quickly.
Use the lawn mower for its intended purpose, i.e.: cutting and collecting grass. Using it for any other purpose

Do not use the lawn mower in the following circumstances:

• If you have taken any medicine or substance which may affect your reactions and judgement.

PREPARATION
Always wear strong shoes and long trousers when mowing. Do not use this equipment when barefoot or

wearing sandals.
Make a thorough inspection of the area to be cleared and remove any objects which could be thrown up by the

machine (stones, pieces of wood, wire, bones, etc.).
WARNING: DANGER! Dampness and electricity are not compatible.

• Electric cable must be handled and connected in dry conditions only.
• Never allow a power connector or a cable to come into contact with a wet area (such as a puddle or wet
grass).
Each time the machine is used, before starting, perform a general inspection and visually check, in particular,

the condition of blades, the mounting bolts and the cutting assembly to make sure that they are not worn or
damaged. Replace any damaged or worn parts with complete part kits to ensure proper balance.
