11. Use of the HART
The Level 1 password is factory set to 00000000 (eight zeroes). Instructions to change the password are
included in Chapter 12 Commissioning, User Configuration.
Note: Some HART handheld devices will retain the previous login until switched off, even if the Searchpoint
®
Optima Plus is disconnected. Ensure that Level 1 access is protected from unauthorised use by logging off
when appropriate.

The welcome screen displays current information about the Searchpoint Optima Plus.

Selecting Device Setup leads to the further menu options, depending on the access level of the user.
