lems in programming environments where the transport layer communica-
tion error information is unavailable. This increments approximately every
5 seconds. It is the responsibility of the system integrator to notify plant
personnel if a Modbus master fails to communicate with the Sensepoint
XCL/XRL. This register can facilitate this notification
