S y m p t o m T r o u b l e s h o o t i n g ( c o n t ' d )
7. W i t h the ignition switch O N , check for voltage
between audio unit connector A (20P) terminal
No. 20 and body g r o u n d . There should be less than
0.1 V.

Is there less than 0.1 V?
Y E S — G o t o step 8.
NO—Repair the open w i r e between audio unit
connector A20 and body g r o u n d (G504). •
8. Remove the audio unit (see page 23-71).
9. Connect the test harness (070AZ-SDAA200) t o the
radio test harness breakout box (07AAZ-SDAA100).
10. Connect the test harness connectors to the printed
circuit board connector on the audio unit.

11. Connect the o h m meter t o the breakout box
(07AAZ-SDAA200) POW S W and GND terminals.
12. Push the POWER button and check for continuity
between the POW S W and GND terminals.
Is there
continuity?
YES—Replace the audio u n i t . B
NO—Replace the audio-HVAC display panel
(see page 2 3 - 7 1 ) . •
Special Tools Required
• Radio test harness breakout box 07AAZ-SDAA100
• Test harness (Stanley) 070AZ-SDAA200
Display is missing information ( w i t h o u t
navigation)
NOTE:
• A part of the A/C does not display.
• There is A/C i n f o r m a t i o n in the display.
• W r o n g indication in LCD.
1. Repeat t u r n i n g the ignition switch ON (II) and OFF
to see if the p r o b l e m appears.
Does the problem
appear?
Y E S — G o t o step 2.
NO—Operation is n o r m a l . •
2. Remove the audio-HVAC display m o d u l e (see page
23-69), and check for the proper connection of the
connectors.
Is it connected
properly?
YES—Go t o step 3.
NO—Reconnect the connectors, and recheck the
p r o b l e m . •
3. Check all A/C i n f o r m a t i o n in the LCD display.
Do all the indicators
work?
Y E S — G o t o step 4.
NO—Replace the audio-HVAC display m o d u l e . •
4. Remove the audio unit (see page 23-71).
