Chassis Installation
Step 1
Locate the ground terminal on the lower-left corner at the rear of the chassis next to the PFU bay labeled Power Filter
Unit 1.
Step 2
Use a 3/8-inch nut driver or socket wrench to remove the nuts and washers from each of the two posts.
Step 3
Insert the lug connected to the grounding cable over the two terminals.
Step 4
Secure the lug to the ground terminals with the nuts and washers you removed in step 2. The nuts should be torqued to
50 in-lb (5.65 n-m).
Step 5
Repeat step 2 through step 4 to connect the ground cable to the grounding posts on the lower-right corner at the rear of
the chassis next to the bay labeled Power Filter Unit 2.
Step 6
If you took steps to reduce the weight of the chassis prior to installation, refer to the instructions in the Re-Installing
Chassis Sub-components section to re-install the components. Otherwise, proceed to Application Card Installation.

Re-Installing Chassis Sub-components

If you performed the procedure in the Reducing the Weight of the Chassis Prior to Installation section, perform the
instructions below to re-install the sub-components of the chassis that were removed.

Re-install the PFUs into the chassis.
