Introduction

The 7847i-E Intranet Communication Module transports alarm signals via a Private LAN.
This easy-to-install device provides sophisticated data security and communicates directly to
a 7810PC or 7810iR-ent Intranet receiver (herein referred to as the "receiver") in a private
network application. In addition to alarm reporting, the 7847i-E provides
upload/downloading capability via a Private LAN.
NOTE: The communicator is evaluated for Level A3 Active Channel Security and P3 Passive
Channel Security. If used in zone trigger mode or for Passive Channel Security, a Listed
DACT must be used and connected to the MX8000 central station receiver.

System Features

Basic features of the 7847i-E include:
Easy CAT-5 10 BaseT connection to a hub or router
Installs behind firewalls without compromising network security
Supports dynamic or static IP addressing
Quick connection to compatible Honeywell series control panels
Simple programming using a 7720P programming tool
Reports fire, burg, and status messages via a Private LAN
Allows uploading and downloading of control panel data over a Private LAN

About Private Network Application

The 7847i-E transmits signals within a private network application to a 7810PC or
7810iR-ent receiver. Up to 300 7847i-E Intranet Communication Modules may be routed to a
single receiver.
For receivers:
MX8000: UL/ULC. can be used for secondary reporting in ECP. Required for Zone Trigger or
7810ir-ENT UL/ULC. primary receiver
7810PC - UL commercial burg only
