To initiate the network diagnostics, press the [F] key on the 7720P.
NOTE: The test is performed ONLY if a physical link is detected. If no physical link is
detected, the test is aborted and the following is displayed:

The first step of the test traces the connection to CS IP 1.
A successful trace to CS IP 1 is indicated here. See below for
possible errors that may occur at this stage of testing.
After a successful trace to CS IP 1, a test of the service at CS IP 1 is
performed. That is, the first test determines if a message can reach
receiver; this test determines if the connection point (CSIP) at
the
the receiver knows what to do with the message once it receives it.
The service at the receiver on CS IP 1 is functioning. See below for
possible errors that may occur at this stage of testing.
The first step of the test traces the connection to CS IP 2 at the
receiver.
A successful trace to CS IP 2 is indicated here. See below for
possible errors that may occur at this stage of testing.
After a successful trace to CS IP 2, a test of the service at CS IP 2 is

The first step of the test traces the connection to CS IP 3 at the
receiver.
A successful trace to CS IP 3 is indicated here. See below for
possible errors that may occur at this stage of testing.
