In [Notify When Amount Remaining Reaches], specify the amount remaining in the toner cartridge
to display the message, then click [OK].
If you are using a toner cartridge that is not a Canon product or the amount remaining in the toner
cartridge cannot be detected correctly, it is possible that no message will be displayed.
Disabling Message Display
You can disable display of the message <The cartridge needs to be replaced soon.> by doing as
follows: Select Printer Status Window's [Options] menu
Cartridge Replacement Notice] check box in the [Warning Display Settings] dialog box.
<The cartridge has reached the end of its lifetime. >
The toner cartridge has reached the end of its lifetime. Replace the toner cartridge with a new one.
You can continue printing when this message is displayed, but the print quality may deteriorate.
