Adjusting depth of cut
Loosen the wing bolt on the depth guide
and move the base up or down. At the
desired depth of cut, secure the base by
tightening the wing bolt.
Adjusting bevel angle
Loosen the wing nut on the bevel scale
plate on the front of the base. Set for the
desired angle (0
-
45") by tilting according-
ly, then tighten the wing nut securely.
Loosen the wing bolt on the depth guide
and move the base so that the end of the
blade case is above the red line on the
depth guide. Then tighten the wing bolt to
secure the base.
NOTE:
I
If the end of the blade case is under the red line on the depth guide, the outer flange may
hit the workpiece when you perform the bevel cut.
