Problem
The ironing board
does not heat up.
The iron remains
constantly at a high
temperature.
The ironing board
cover is damp.

Possible cause
Steam has not been
used for a certain
period of time.
The steamer is
connected to the
tower.
The ironing board is
not locked into
place on both sides
of the tower.
The appliance is
damaged.
There is a fault with
the steam ironing
system.
There is a fault with
the steam ironing
system.
Remedy
Press the steam button * to
activate heating of the ironing
board.
The ironing board does not heat
up if the steamer is connected.
Ensure the ironing board is
locked into place on both sides
of the tower (see 'Assembling').
Call Miele.
Call Miele.
Remove the ironing board cover
and allow to dry.
Put the dry ironing board cover
back on (see 'Changing the
ironing board cover').
If the ironing board cover
becomes damp again, contact
Miele.
