Warning and Safety instructions
~
Always place the iron with the steam function switched off on the
iron rest so that the sole plate doesn't overhang any side.
Otherwise, there is a risk of burning.
~
Danger of burning! The iron rest becomes hot if the iron is left to
rest on it for a long time. Avoid any direct contact with the iron rest
while it is hot. Only touch the handle at the back of the iron rest.
~
Danger of burning! Do not direct steam towards people, animals
or any kind of electrical device.
~
Danger of burning! Do not attempt to use the steam function on
clothes that are being worn by someone.
The clothes will increase the severity of burns to the skin.
~
Never leave the iron or steamer unsupervised while switched on.
Switch off at the wall socket if the appliance is to be left
unsupervised.
~
Switch the appliance off before switching off at the wall and
removing the plug.
~
Hold the plug, not the connection cable, when disconnecting
from the wall socket.
~
Ensure the hot sole plate does not come into contact with either
the connection cable or the steam hose.
~
The iron or the steamer must not be connected when the
appliance is being descaled. You do not need to supervise the
appliance during the descaling process.
~
The iron must not be stored in the top storage compartment while
it is still connected. This could result in damage to the steam ironing
system.
