Preparing the descaling process

The descaling process can be started when the indicator
light k flashes red or lights up constantly.
^ Unplug the steam hose from the steam connection socket.
Do not connect the iron or the steamer during descaling.
This would interrupt the descaling process by switching
off the appliance.
If the appliance is switched on again without the iron or
steamer being connected, the descaling process will
continue.
^ Press the On/Off button s to switch the appliance on.
The circle around the s button will light up yellow.
