3. Installing the M stop drive plate
assembly
(1) Move the shaft "b" of the M stopper (T)
assembly and the shaft "c" of the M stopper
(S) assembly with fingers in the direction
toward the drum.
(2) Insert the shaft that is located in the back of
the M stop drive plate assembly into the slot
of the MIC drive (M) assembly. At the same
time, insert the shafts of both the M stopper
(T) assembly and the M stopper (S) assembly
into the two slots of the M stop drive plate
assembly as shown in the illustration. Fix
them with the two precision screws to the
MD chassis.
Tightening torque : 0.1 N.m {1 kgf.cm}
(3) Check to see that all of the M stopper (T)
assembly, the M stopper (S) assembly and the
MIC drive (M) assembly move smoothly
when the iron core of the solenoid is moved
in the direction of energizing (pulled in).
