„ Procedure for fiber unit attaching
1.
Remove the scanner unit protection cover.
Keep the scanner unit protection cover for the next use.
• Make sure that no foreign matter such as fingerprint, dust,
grease or oil is attached to the glass inside of the head. If the
glass is contaminated, blow dusts with an air duster for optics.
2.
Make sure that the O-ring is attached to the joint part of the fiber unit properly.
• If there are signs of deterioration or damage in the O-ring, replace it. Replacement O-rings (Set of gasket) are available
on request. For purchasing them, contact our sales agency.
3.
Make sure that the fiber cable is not twisted.
If a plastic bag or other protection cover is attached to the fiber unit, remove it.
• If the fiber cable is twisted, it may cause of a power decrease or a failure.
