Causes
Laser welding machine has not been
started.
Cable of the touch panel is not
connected.
Return harness is not connected.
Return harness is not connected.
Monitor is not turned on.
Monitor cable is not connected.
The connected monitor is not applicable
with the laser welding machine.
The mouse is connected to the USB
hub.
The mouse type is not supported by
the laser welding machine.
• A USB flash drive with a security
function is used.
• The file system selected when
formatting the USB flash drive is not
appropriate.
• The connector of the USB flash
drive is dirty.
• The laser welding machine was
launched with the USB flash drive
connected.

Measures
See remedial action against "Start-up".
Check that the cable is connected to connector
[CONSOLE] on front of controller.
Connect return harness to [RETURN OUT], [VGA
OUT] and [(VGA+RETURN) IN] on the rear of the
controller.
Connect return harness to [RETURN OUT], [VGA
OUT] and [(VGA+RETURN) IN] on the rear of the
controller.
Check power to monitor.
Check that monitor cable is securely connected to
connector [VGA OUT] on rear of controller.
Connect a VGA-compatible monitor.
Connect the USB mouse to the laser welding
machine controller directly without USB hub.
Use the USB mouse with Human interface device
(HID) class.
• USB flash drives with a security function
cannot be used.
• Use a USB flash drive formatted with FAT32.
• Clean the connector according to the
procedure in the instruction manual of your
USB flash drive.
• Insert the USB flash drive after the activation
of the laser welding machine is completed.
