Folding the Roll Bar (continued)
The roll bar is an integral safety device. It does not protect you from injury or even
death from a rollover unless it is secured in the raised position and you are wearing
the seat belt.
• Keep the roll bar in the raised position whenever you operate the machine.
• Lower the roll bar temporarily only when necessary, then secure it in the raised
position as soon as possible before continuing operation.
The roll bar is an integral safety device. Keep the roll bar in the raised position when
operating the mower. Lower the roll bar temporarily only when absolutely necessary.
1. Park the machine on a level surface, lower the cutting units, engage the parking brake,
shut off the engine, and remove the key.
2. Remove the lynch pins that secure the roll-bar pins at each side of the roll bar.
