Procedure
IMPORTANT: Possible pole diameters for these EVSE units are 8" to 12".
Drill two holes of diameter 1 1/8" on the pole in the location shown in Figure 25. One hole is to bring
the power cables and the other for communication cable into the enclosure. If the communication
cable and the corresponding conduit is not used, cover the hole in the enclosure with the supplied
NEMA 3R knockout plug and do not drill the corresponding hole in the pole. The height of the holes
from the floor should be from 20" to 25" as shown in Figure 25 to meet UL and American Disability Act
compliance. This ensures the critical height shown in Figure 26.
IMPORTANT: Exercise extreme caution when drilling holes in the wall. Make sure there are no electrical
cables.
