7. Change network settings in accordance with the environment.
Changing the IP Address
(1) Enter "set N001 10.81.8.153". (The underlined portion is the desired IP address to be set.)
(2) A message prompting your confirmation appears. Enter "y" after confirmation.
Changing the Subnet Mask
(1) Enter "set N002 255.255.255.128". (The underlined portion is the desired Subnet Mask
address to be set.)
(2) A message prompting your confirmation appears. Enter "y" after confirmation.
Changing the Def Gateway
(1) Enter "set N003 10.81.8.254". (The underlined portion is the desired Def Gateway address
to be set.)
(2) A message prompting your confirmation appears. Enter "y" after confirmation.
8. Enter "set save".
9. When the following message is displayed, terminate the terminal program and turn off the power
once and back on.
Then, the changed settings become valid.
Cmd>set save
Setups was saved into Flash memory.
Success to send Serial No. and MAC address to Robot.
Factory Setups was saved into Flash memory.

6-3. How to Log On via Telnet

Equipment required
. Personal computer (to be abbreviated as PC hereafter in this manual)
. Terminal program (such as Tera Term)
. Network cross cable
Connection
1. Connect the network cross cable to the Network terminal of the connector panel.
2. Connect the other end of the network cross cable to a PC.
Personal computer
3. Launch the terminal program.
4. Select the TCP/IP, and specify the IP address of the PDJ-A640 for network connection.
5. Set the Local Echo of the terminal program to OFF.
6. Enter the log-in user name "admin", and the password "pdj-a640".
This completes logging on.
