8.4 Operation in the Event of FL-net Failure

If the FL654 is disconnected from the FL-net, it holds or clears outputs to the output
modules. Selection of hold or clear is set using the operation setting switch.
If an update of the overall listener area of the local station is stopped for more than
500 ms, the FL654 holds or clears outputs to the output modules. Selection of hold or
clear is set using the operation setting switch.
Such a condition occurs if the talker source station is disconnected from the system or
if the transmission line becomes defective, such as disconnection.
If this condition occurs, the I/O LED blinks regardless of whether outputs to the output
modules have been held or cleared.
If multiple stations are the talker sources of the listener area, this function is not
activated unless data receptions from all the relevant stations are stopped.
If a module goes down, the FL654 controls outputs to the output modules in the same
way as disconnection from the network.
