3.6 Tool Connection Port (TOOL)
This port is an RS-232C port for PC connection. It is used to check the automatic setting
status of I/O module. Use the Microsoft HyperTerminal running in the PC. For how to use it,
see Chapter 6, I/O Module Registration/Setting Method. For the FL654 firmware version
1.10 or later, integrated controller V-Tool can be connected. The connector and connection

cable for V-Tool connection are as follows:

• Connector: D-sub, 9-pin (pins: male, shell: female)
• Connection cable: product code XCDEYAA
This cable is the same as an integrated controller connection cable.
