Preparations
1. Confirm that the unit is in the unthreading end state.
2. Turn off the power.
3. Remove the front lid and outside panel.
(Refer to section 1-6 in Part 1 of the Maintenance Manual.)
4. Remove the cassette compartment.
(Refer to section 3-3-24.)

Stop washer is used for installation of threading arm assembly. Do not reuse it.
Install the new one (3-559-408-11) when replacing the threading arm assembly.

. FWD back-tension measurement cassette
. Cleaning cloth
. Cleaning fluid
. Torque screwdriver bit (for M1.4)
. Torque screwdriver (for 3 kg)
