7.4 Shielding D-SUB Connectors
You must shield D-SUB connectors as follows:

1 D-SUB connector
2 Shield
3 Cable clip
4 Cable
The shield must be folded back into a flat position over the cable she-
ath.
When fastening the cable with the cable clip, as much of the shielding
as possible must be in contact with the housing and sufficient strain
relieve must be ensured.
