7.2.1.2 Termination
For point-to-point connections, always activate the termination. For
multi-point connections, only activate the termination at the cable end.

The switch positions for ON or OFF are printed onto the termination
switch. Only the specified switch positions are permitted.
Switch on the transmitter termination (S1 + S2) and switch off the recei-
ver termination (S3 + S4) if you terminate a RS485 interface.
