5.2.3 Shutting Down the UPS

Shutting Down the Inverter to Transfer the UPS to Bypass Mode
Shut down the UPS using either of the following methods:
Shutting Down the Inverter to Transfer the UPS to the No Output State
Step 1 Shut down loads.
Step 2 Perform "shutdown operations" on the UPS. The inverter shuts down, and the UPS
transfers to bypass mode.

Three-phase; if the system uses three-phase input single-phase output or
single-phase input single-phase output, Output mode is set to Single-phase.
Voltage level and Frequency level are set based on the rated voltage and
frequency. Press ESC to return to the standby screen.

NO TE
To prevent triggering overload protection, start the loads with higher power and then loads
with lower power.
On the default screen, hold down ESC for more than 5 seconds. Release the
button when you hear a beep sound. The UPS shuts down the inverter and
enters the bypass mode.
On the default screen, press
> Shutdown. Shut down the UPS inverter. The UPS enters bypass mode.

The two methods are called "shutdown operations" in this section.
