10.3.2
Transferring diagnostic alarms to the controller: PROFIBUS
Diagnostics alarms
Diagnostic alarms are transferred as diagnostic interrupts. The PROFIBUS device
identification number is required for identifying a diagnostic interrupt.
The HCS4200 has the identification number 81C4.
The evaluation in SIMATIC is performed via I/O_FLT1 (OB82) and RALRM (SFB54).
Structure of the diagnostics alarm
The alarm message consists of 4 bytes of header (standardized) and 4 bytes of user-specific
data. These are to be interpreted as follows:

Description
Channel number
The following applies for channel numbers:
Channel number = 0: Diagnostic information relates to one module
•
(CIM, POM, PM)
Channel numbers <> 0: Diagnostic information relates to one channel
•
(for POM, PM only)
The power channel numbers are counted across the entire HCS.
Error type (see Manufacturer-specific error codes (Page 175))
Description
Line voltage is outside the permissible range. The error message only
applies to values from PM4000 U/I and POMs with their own voltage
measurement.
Frequency is outside the permissible range. The error message can be
