COUNTER DRIVEN GEAR
1. Thrust needle roller bearing
2. Thrust bearing race
3. Differential drive pinion
4. Counter driven gear
1. Counter driven gear
2. Vice
5. Cylindrical roller bearing
6. Lock nut (for output shaft speed sensor)
7. Thrust bearing race
8. Thrust needle roller bearing
DISASSEMBLY
1) Remove transmission housing.
2) Clamp counter driven gear with special tool and a vice.
Special Tool
(A): 0992l-57810
3) Unstake lock section of lock nut for output shaft speed sensor.
4) Remove lock nut for output shaft speed sensor, using special
tool.
Special Tool
(B): 09927-76050
NOTE:
Do not reuse lock nut for output shaft speed sensor once
removed.
