Interface Functions

3026 Programmer Manual
This appendix lists and describes the GPIB functions and messages that the 3026
Realtime Spectrum Analyzer implements.
Table C–1 shows which GPIB interface functions are implemented in this
instrument. Following the table is a brief description of each function.

Electrical Interface
H Acceptor Handshake (AH). Allows a listening device to help coordinate the
the proper reception of data. The AH function holds off initiation or
termination of a data transfer until the listening device is ready to receive the
next data byte.
H Source Handshake (SH). Allows a talking device to help coordinate the
proper transfer of data. The SH function controls the initiation and termina-
tion of the transfer of data bytes.
