A sampling method used to sample directly from a vial that is placed in the Analyzer's
Vial Port.

Some users prefer to manually dilute samples before analysis. The Manual Dilution
button allows those users to enter the dilution ratio that was used. The concentration
reported by the InnovOx TOC Analyzer is then multiplied by that factor. When no manual
dilution was performed, Manual Dilution should be set to "1.0."
Non-dispersive Infrared
Non-purgeable Organic Carbon
In the Online mode, the InnovOx On-Line TOC Analyzer can monitor up to two sample
streams, or in the optional 5-stream configuration, it can monitor up to five sample
streams.
To help eliminate any unnecessary reporting of high values, the InnovOx firmware has
the capability to ignore the erroneously high values with the Outlier Feature. When
running process water that is high in particulate matter, it is not uncommon for the
Analyzer to give an erroneously high value on a periodic basis. This is due to particulate
matter that collects in the tubing leading up to the Analyzer, and then breaking free to
flow to the sample cup. Because the InnovOx has such a high oxidation capacity, the
carbon contribution from this particulate matter will show up in the reported result.
These "events" are infrequent and can cause some confusion as to the state of the
water system. This feature can be enabled or disabled when running in NPOC mode, and
has a set Outlier Threshold and Reject Outlier value.
This value is utilized in the Outlier Feature. When any measurement is greater than the
Outlier Threshold value, the instrument will not display the value on the Data screen or
store it in the instrument. The limit to the number measurements that are ignored is
one (1), two (2), or three (3) and is set by the Rejected Outlier value.
This value is utilized in the Outlier Feature. The number of consecutive outliers (greater
than the Outlier Threshold) before the instrument displays the value on the Data screen
and stores it in the instrument. Options for this value are 1, 2, or 3.
The Analyzer will display an Over Range error message when the measured value is
larger than the upper concentration limit in the current range.
The amount of oxidizer added to the sample, acid, and dilution water (if any). A setting of
15% Oxidizer means that 15% (V/V) of the total solution in the sparger will be oxidizer.
"Protocol" refers to the settings used to make a measurement with the InnovOx TOC
Analyzer, including the calibration that is used. Protocols can be named and saved in the
Analyzer's memory for later use.
Date that the protocol was created and saved on the Analyzer.
