NOTE:
The metal bracket where the sensor resides is part of the sensor kit and must be installed
before installing a sensor for the first time. Installing a front fan or some full-length expansion cards may
require that you install a front fan holder/card guide instead of the mounting bracket. See
front fan assembly on page 104

Power down the workstation (see

Remove the side access panel (see

Install the sensor by sliding the sensor into the slot provided for it in the fan holder/card guide (1),
as shown in the following illustration.

Carefully route the sensor cable along the bottom of the drive bay so that it is not pinched by the
fan holder/card guide and plug the sensor cable into the HSENSE connector on the system board
(2).
