Defining Email Alerts (SMTP)

The NAS server lets you automatically notify individuals via email if there is a
hardware failure or a critical system alert.

To set up automatic notification:
1. In Command View NAS, click the Configuration tab.
2. Under Alerts/Logging, select SMTP Email Alerts.
3. Select Actions > Edit SMTP Values.
