Rerouting
Description
If an incoming
outside
call cannot
be placed
anywhere,
the call can be routed to another
destination.
This is called Rerouting.
Rerouting
will take place in the following
cases.
,l.
lf the system cannot
determine
the
destination
to place the call (for example,
no destination
is assigned).
2. if the system determines
the destination
but
the destination
cannot
currently
receive the
call (for example,
it is not "In Service").
3. If a call arrives at a trunk which is set to
"Outgoing
Only."
If a call is rerouted,
the call will be s&
to the
following
destinatiotis:
1. lf "Group-Trunk
Group", Intercept
Routing
(Day/Night)
is assigned,
the call is sent to
the assigned
destination.*
2. If it is not assigned,
the call is sent to
Operator
1 in the receiving
tenant.
* If the assigned
destination
is a Voice Mail
extension,
the call is not sent to it.

If a call is rerouted
to an extension
user and the
user's PITS has a display, if shows:
