© TITLE POSITION buttons
Press these buttons to select the position in which the titles
are to be placed on the screen.
© SCROLL control buttons
(Effective only when SCROLL is selected.)
SCROLL SPEED button:
Press this button to vary the scrolling speed. The scroll
speed can be selected in four steps.
SCROLL REVERSE butten:
Press this button to reverse the scrolling direction. (Norm-
ally, titles are scrolled from the bottom to the top of the
screen.)
SCROLL START/STOP button:
Press this button to start scrolling. Press it again to stop
scrolling.

@ VCR-1, VCR-2 input connectors and signal select switches
Connect the output connectors of the VCRs used for play-
back
to these connectors.
Set the signal select switches
(COMPOSITE
or Y/C) to the appropriate
positions, de-
pending on whether the input signals are composite or Y/C
separated video signals.
@ REC OUT/RETURN connector and signal select switch
Connect
the input/output connector of the VCR used for
recording to this connector. The video signal output from
this connector is a composite signal.
When
using the RETURN
function, the video signal re-
turned from the VCR used for recording can be selected by
the setting signal select switch to the appropriate position,
depending on whether the signal is a composite or Y/C
separated video signal.
© REC OUT (Y/C) connector
Connect the input connector of the Super VHS VCR used
for recording to this connector. Only a Y/C separated video
signal is output from this connector,
@ MEMORY button
Press this button to store the title you have created in
memory.
While creating titles, press this button to change
from one page to another.
@® INSERT ON/OFF button
Press this button to turn the superimposition of the stored
titles to be output to the REC OUT jacks on and off.
@ FADE IN/OUT button
Press this button to fade the superimposed titles output to
the REC OUT jacks in and out.

© MONITOR OUT connector and signal select switch
Connect
the input terminals of the monitor
TV to this
connector. The signal output from this connector can be
switched
between
a composite
or Y/C separated
video
signal with the signal select switch.
© AUX input terminals
Connect the output terminals of an outboard audio com-
ponent
to these
terminals,
using conventional
pin-jack
cables. The signals input to these terminals will be cancelled
automatically
when
the microphone
is plugged
into the
MIC jack.
@ EDITING CONTROL connectors
When
suitable JVC VCRs are used for recording and play-
back, connect their Remote Pause jacks here.
