COLOR BALANCE ON/OFF button:
Press this button to use the COLOR BALANCE joystick.

Adjust the white balance or tint of the picture with this
joystick,
WIDE RANGE button:
Press this button to widen the control range of the colour
balance.
@ COLOR LEVEL controls
COLOR LEVEL ON/OFF button:
Press this button to ON to change the colour intensity.
COLOR LEVEL controlier:
Slide this control
toward
LIGHT
to decrease the colour
intensity and toward DEEP to increase it.
@ ENHANCER controls
ENHANCER ON/OFF button:
Press this button to activate the enhancer.
ENHANCER controller:
Slide this control
toward
MAX
to increase the enhance-
ment effect and toward MIN to decrease it.
® MIC jack
Plug a microphone
into this jack when mixing the sound
picked up from the microphone with the source sound.

@ PHONES LEVEL control
Adjust the output level of the headphone sound with this
knob.
@® PHONES jack
Connect
stereo headphones
to this jack to monitor the
sound output from the MONITOR output connector.
@ BACK COLOR select knob
Select the background colour for wipes and fades with this
knob.
Set to the COLOR
BAR
position
to select the
colour bar chart.
@® WIPE PATTERN select buttons
Select
the
required
wipe
pattern
with
these
buttons.
Various
wipe patterns are available by combining these
basic patterns (except for circle KJ pattern).
@® WIPE controls
WIPE ON/OFF button:
Press this button to ON to activate the wipe function.
WIPE controller:
Slide this knob toward SOURCE to wipe the picture in and
toward BACK COLOR to wipe it out.
@ PAGE select buttons
Select
one
among
five pages; PAGE
1 to PAGE
4 and
SCROLL.
Press these buttons a second time to emphasize
the characters by adding the black outline around each
(white) character. (Press a third time to remove the out-
line.)
@ DATE/SHIFT button
This button functions to turn the date indication ON and
OFF when PAGE 1 is selected. Otherwise, it functions as a
SHIFT button (to alternate between button functions when
setting the position of the ''headline'' on the SCROLL
page).
© CREATE button
Press this button to create titles.
@ CLEAR button
Press this button
to cancel all the titles created on the
selected page.
© SIZE button
Press this button to change the size of the characters on the
selected
page. Up to 5 sizes are available, except for the
titles on PAGE 1.
@ CURSOR (<<, > ) buttons
These buttons are used to move the cursor when creating
titles. Press <4 to move the cursor to the left and press >
to move it to the right.
@ CHARACTER SELECT buttons
SPACE button:
Press this button to leave a space between characters,
REV, FWD buttons:
These
buttons are used to select the required character.
Press FWD
to change the letters in ascending order, and
press REV to change in descending order.
