2.9.1 RFID
This section describes how to install the RFID hardware for Pedestal, Wall Mounted and Pole Mounted
EVSE units only. For the Back to Back EVSE unit RFID upgrade, contact a GE representative by
calling 1-800-GE1STOP.
If your unit already has RFID and you are replacing it, first remove the old RFID unit, then follow the
instructions starting with Figure 33.
If your EVSE unit does not already have an RFID reader, open the service door and the remove the
metal plate and gasket (located below the VFD) shown in Figure 31 and 32.
