Operation
There are two configurable snooze options for the Smart Alarm clock.
1.
Smart Snooze – similar to a regular snooze mode, hitting "snooze" when your alarm rings will
silence the alarm for five minutes and then it will ring again.
But, this is a "smart snooze", so there are two conditions which may change that:
either you fell back into deep sleep or you are already out of the bed.
In the first scenario, the algorithm will be looking for the next optimal opportunity to wake you up
within the original time window you defined in your "Smart Alarm" settings.
In the second case, there will be no alarm, thus preventing the nuisance of getting alarms when you are
already out of bed (and preventing possible unnecessary interruption to the sleep of your partner).
2.
Persistent Alarm – by choosing this option, you will not be able to stop the alarm clock once it
starts ringing, unless you are out of the bed.
Tricking the system won't work here either, as if you get back into bed within 90 minutes since
the time you got up – the alarm will go off again.
Use this option if you are a "constant snoozer", or if you have a really hard time getting out of bed
in the morning (This option is well suited for teenagers).
NOTE
The Smart Alarm function may operate less accurately when there are more than 2 people sleeping
in the bed.
