1. Sprocket pin
NOTICE
9 Do not hammer the sprocket pins.
9 Always fold and close the ring.
9 Use genuine sprocket pin when re-
placing.

BATTERY

Checking the battery
This machine is equipped with a VRLA
(Valve Regulated Lead Acid) battery.
It is not necessary to refill or inspect the
battery fluid.
If there are any problems with the battery,
bring it to a Yamaha dealer to have it in-
spected and serviced.
Remove the battery and clean it when
there is any contamination or corrosion on
the battery terminals.
WARNING
0 Electrolyte is poisonous and danger-
ous since it contains sulfuric acid,
which causes severe burns. Avoid
any contact with skin, eyes or cloth-
ing and always shield your eyes
when working near batteries. In case
of contact, administer the following
FIRST AID.
9 EXTERNAL: Flush with plenty of wa-
ter.
9 INTERNAL: Drink large quantities of
water or milk and immediately call a
physician.
9 EYES: Flush with water for 15 min-
utes and seek prompt medical atten-
tion.
0 Batteries produce explosive hydro-
gen gas. Therefore, keep sparks,
flames, cigarettes, etc., away from the
battery and provide sufficient ventila-
tion when charging it in an enclosed
space.
0 KEEP THIS AND ALL BATTERIES OUT
OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
NOTICE
9 This is the VRLA (Valve Regulated
Lead Acid) 12 V battery.
9 This battery is filled with fluid and
completely charged. It is not neces-
