PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
REFILLING THE
TRANSMISSION (HST) OIL
WARNING
Position the Snowblower on a level sur-
face.
1. Stop the engine and remove the engine
switch key.
2. Remove the oil reservoir cap and the
diaphragm.

3. Refill the transmission (HST) oil to an
intermediate level between the maxi-
mum level mark and minimum level
mark of the transmission (HST) oil res-
ervoir.

3. Minimum level mark "LOWER"
NOTICE
9 Make sure that no foreign material
such as dirt enters the oil reservoir
during refilling.
9 Use the recommended transmission
(HST) oil only.
Recommended transmission (HST) oil:
Diesel engine oil
SAE 10W-30, Class CD or higher
4. Install the diaphragm so that its notch
is aligned with the notch on the oil res-
ervoir, and then tighten the oil reservoir
cap securely.
