7 Handling precautions for the XA-GC20BK Charger
This equipm ent has been tested and found to
com ply w ith the lim its for a Class A digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These lim its
are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harm ful interference w hen the equipm ent is
operated in a com m ercial environm ent. This
equipm ent generates, uses, and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance w ith the instruction m anual, m ay cause
harm ful interference to radio com m unications.
Operation of this equipm ent in a residential area is
likely to cause harm ful interference in w hich case
the user w ill be required to correct the interference
at his ow n expense.
The included pow er cord com es equipped w ith a
Ferrite core w hich shields against noise. Do not
rem ove this from the pow er cord.
7 Install the XA-GC20BK Charger so that the back of
the unit is more than 10 cm from a w all or other
objects.
Without an appropriate am ount of space betw een
the w all and the unit, heat m ay accum ulate and
cause a m alfunction.
7 Changing the fuse for the XA-GC20BK Charger
The fuse for this product is 250V/5A (Am ps).
If the fuse blow s soon after replacing, consult w ith
the dealer w here the fuse w as purchased. Under
any circum stances do not use a fuse that is above
the indicated am perage of " 5A."

ROM Player and the XA-GT1TN Infrared Address
Transmitter
This equipm ent has been tested and found to
com ply w ith the lim its for a Class B digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These lim its
are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harm ful interference in a residential
installation. This equipm ent generates, uses, and
can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance w ith the
instructions, m ay cause harm ful interference to
radio com m unications. How ever, there is no
guarantee that interference w ill not occur in a
particular installation. If this equipm ent does cause
harm ful interference to radio or television
reception, w hich can be determ ined by turning the
equipm ent off and on, the user is encouraged to try
to correct the interference by one or m ore of the
follow ing m easures:
– Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
– Increase the separation betw een the equipm ent and
receiver.
– Connect the equipm ent into an outlet on a circuit
different from that to w hich the receiver is
connected.
– Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV
technician for help.
7 The XA-GP1BK Portable ROM Player is not
w aterproof and therefore take the necessary
precautions to avoid exposing the unit to w ater or
liquids.
In the event that any kind of liquid is spilled into the
unit, turn POWER to OFF and contact your dealer.
7 Using the neck strap
• The XA-GP1BK Portable ROM Player should be
w orn around the neck and placed in a position that
can directly receive signals from the Infrared
Address Transm itter. The Auto Play function can
not operate properly if the unit is covered under
clothing.
• When a child is using the Portable ROM Player, to
prevent accidents, replace the neck strap w ith the
hand strap.
